Biodynamic farming is a form of organic agriculture, and we follow its principles. It offers a response to the unchecked intensive farming of the last few decades, which has had disastrous environmental and human consequences.
- maintaining balance by revitalising soil life
- strengthening the vines' natural resistance
- supporting natural cycles through the interplay of soil, water, plants, air, fauna and flora.
Biodynamics draws not only on ancestral wisdom and practices but also on the latest developments in the field. It demands total commitment, but the results we see every day are deeply rewarding and encouraging for the future.
It is the ultimate form of sustainable agriculture, encouraging soil biodiversity and the health of the grapes, and allowing the wines to fully reveal their qualities and the character of our terroir.
This approach rules out all synthetic plant-protection products, chemical fertilisers, pesticides and growth regulators. They are replaced by natural products used to support the vineyard and its terroir.

Every year we use a proven biodynamic composting method, adding preparations made from medicinal plants. This turns manure into a more balanced, fertile compost for the soil.
These biodynamic preparations help the vine build its natural defences while respecting the balance of flora and fauna. The wines are more balanced, structured and profound, and biodynamic wines are widely recognised for their quality and depth.
